Editor's Note

Post  Betep on Sat Jan 29, 2011 10:08 am

No link so I'll type it verbatim:

"EDITOR'S NOTE
The headline for Friday's winter weariness story on page A1 was conceived at the end of my driveway as I lifted the first shovel-full of heavy, wet snow.

Surely it was the popular sentiment of most Cape Codders Thursday morning. However, some took offense at the word play used to convey that feeling.

We were aiming for levity in this tiresome season, but sincere apologies if we missed the mark.

Paul Pronovost, Editor"

___________________________________________________________

Friday's headline: We're Tired (of) Freezing!

WTF in huge letters. LOL

Edit: I'm not counting this as an correction. A lapse of judgment perhaps, but not a factual error. I LOLed when I saw WTF as the headline.
